Mortar Fleece is the first product to be designed specifically to protect mortar, brick and block work from adverse weather conditions. Mortar Fleece is a lightweight, breathable fleece with a waterproofed central section. For securing the mortar fleece slits have been machined along each edge to allow tethering.

Tried and tested at CERAM building technology, Mortar Fleece will protect the mortar from -7^o frost for at least 16 hours, which is more than sufficient for curing. The central waterproof section will keep brick and block work dry during heavy rainfall and help to protect insulation fill if present. This makes it the ideal product to ensure that the mortar cures without hindrance which will prevent future problems with cracking and loss of mortar strength.

Efflorescence, the staining of brickwork through excess water or moisture retained in bricks and cavities, is also prevented, as the Mortar Fleece prevents the ingress of water at the early stages of curing.
