Concrete & Screed Fibres

Fibre technology in concrete and screeding has been extensively used throughout the civil and construction industry for many years with the Fibres being added to the mix at the processing stage. Now with our Fibres you can use this technology yourself.

These synthetic fibres disperse quickly and evenly in the concrete or screed mix, and will reduce shrinkage during the curing stage and therefore minimise cracking. Achieving a high quality finish with an excellent surface hardness and improving resistance to wear and tear is now a simple task. The use of fibres also reduces water migration, so there will be less floating off.

Where can Fibres be used?

  • Industrial & Domestic Floors
  • Concrete drives & Pathways
  • Foundation bases
  • Conservatory Floors
  • Floor Repairs
  • Under floor heating installations

100g bags – 1 bag is sufficient for each 25kg of mix. In a standard size cement mixer (90litre capacity) 1/3 of cement is used in a standard concrete/screed mix therefore add 1/3 of the fibre bag to each mix.

900 g bags – each bag is sufficient for 1 cubic metre of concrete or screed. If using a standard sized cement mixer add approx 1 handful of fibres to each mix.
